a compilation of sources

News and Blogs

this page is under construction.

here's a collection of news sites, information sources, and blogs that I appreciate in one way or another.

as an aside, I think the best way to read news is often through an RSS feed! Almost all sites are able to be used in an RSS reader, which is sort of like having your own social media. I am currently using a self-hosted instance of FreshRSS. There is ZERO reason to be relying on google to amalgamate information for you. It's fun to curate your own information garden and add new things to it.

Using RSS for podcasts is WAAAY better than any BS that spotify throws your way. Try using antennapod which is free and open source. You can add RSS links from patreon, or from most podcast websites.
